New features since 5.02:

"One-PawBandit" game included with the program.  Requires the download and running of allbreed.exe.  Game simulayes a slot maching using dog pictures.

Records section includes Other non-expense items to track when events occured.  Record heights, weights, heat cycles and other information.

Records section includes expense reports by dog, month, quarter with group subtotals.

Ability to export and import CSV files and Tab Separated files.

Data sharing feature to easily share specific data fields with other users.

Fixes

Font size scales better with very high resolution monitors.

Fixed reports to work without restaring the program after a data restore.
 

5.02 | 4-April-2001 - Major feature release and minor bug fix

New features:

Call name can be optionally included in dog name lookup;
Previously used titles can optionally be included in drop down lists
Screen can be scaled to custom sizes.
Function to convert entire database of dog's names to mixed case.
Function to search for similar names to aid in eliminating duplicates.
Program can now be installed in other than the C:\k9ped directory
Grid view returns to last field order and field size.
Many other screens also "remember" previous settings
Backup patterns (selection of fields to backup) can be stored and retrieved.
Miscellaneous Expenses added.
Sorts now include more fields.

New feature - Working with Titles - provides global search and replace for various title abbreviations and the definition of title types to provide proper color pedigree outputs.

Fixes the "font size" selection button on the "Print | Reports" page.

Re-write of backup/recover features for more consistent results.

Bug Fix : Font size of printed pedigree was being reduced when the preview size was not set to 100%.  Corrected to always leave printed font size as selected in "modify Styles".

Feature : Date of Birth label now shows red if the current dog is older than its parents or younger than one or more of its progeny.  Moving the mouse cursor over the red label will momentarily bring up a hint to show the type of problem.  Clicking on the red label will open a window with all of the problems listed.

Previous version used "@" as the identifier for pedigree data place holder.  This caused a problem when an e-mail address was added to the form.  Identifier changed to "@@".  Custom forms will need to be edited to replace all "@" with "@@".

Added feature to output text files, tab separated or comma separated, from the Print | Reports screen.

html pedigrees have the option to directly include the picture location in the html file.  Picture must be in the same directory as the html file to view.  This applies to the local system as well as on any web site.

Added "Grid View" to the View menu.  This allows viewing and editing of most data in a spread sheet style form.

Added ability to print single character pedigrees.  Some users like to use a single character in the Conformation Championships field that does not print to indicate that they have checked and the dog is not a champion.  The "Print Single Character Champions" allows this information to be printed for review.

Added indication on input page when there is "More" data.  Note indicator will show even when you delete previously added data and the "More" page is blank as the record remains until the next full restore.

Program now recognizes "OTCH" as an Obedience title even though you place it in front of the dog's name.
 

Added ability to preview and print report from "Value Distribution" page.

Added support for regional Date formats.
