These databases are available for use with the program in demo or full use mode.  The databases are obtained from various sources and are provided free of cost and as-is.  They are intended to be used to demonstrate the K9-Ped program and provide a starting point for your own breed input.  Many have known errors that may be usefull to show the error identification features of the K9-Ped program.

If you have a database from another program and would like it converted and shared with others please contact jim@azdogs.com.

To use one of these databases in demo mode:

1) Download and install the blank sample database program.

2) After installing but before running the K9-Ped program, Download and Unzip the desired breed database file to the k9ped\backup directory. (If your browser opens the file and you see garbage rather than an option to save it, try right clicking the breed name and selecting "Save Link as...")  Make sure the breed file (*.k9p) is in the backup directory before running the program for the first time.

3) Run the K9-Ped program, select the downloaded file and click Open.

If you are a registered full user and want to add one of these breeddatabases:

1) Run the K9-Ped program.
2) From File | Change Breed page add a new breed.
3) Click "File | Recover from Backup File" and select the downloaded breed file.
4) Click the "Replace All Data" radio button then click the Recover Data Button.
5) Select the desired backup file and click save.

If you are using demo mode and want to change your demo database please contact jim@azdogs.com
